About our lab
Erindale Dental Arts
We opened for business in 1982. Its owner, Mike Lowman, quickly established his reputation as a talented and innovative dental ceramics technician. From its start as a one-man laboratory to its present size today, Mike’s vision for Erindale Dental Arts has always been the same: provide high-quality restorations and using the latest in technology along with “tried and true” methods.
To this end, Mike has a strong on-going commitment to continuing education. This is reflected in his credentials as a Certified Dental Technician (CDT) and the certification of Erindale as a Certified Dental Laboratory (CDL). CDT’s are required yearly to meet a minimum number of hours of continuing education. Training and cross-training of all our technicians takes place constantly. Erindale Dental Arts is a member of both the NADL and CDLA.
The office is managed by Karin Lowman. If Mike's technical talents are the strength of the lab, then Karin's organizational skills are a close second. Among her countless other tasks, she supervises the lab's quality control with a passionate commitment to excellence. Karin is a graduate of the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
The quality of service is just as important as the quality of prosthetics. Therefore, fostering good working relationships with our clients and their staffs is a key goal of ours. From the moment we first speak with a client, we make it our primary goal to provide our best service and products. This has proved a successful strategy—we’ve been with many of our dentist customers for fifteen years or more. From our personal free pick-up and delivery service (locally) to our in-laboratory custom shade consultations, you can be assured that you won’t be treated as just another account.
